Photoshop tutorial: patterns
Blog
Here we go… my first screencast ever! Seriously guys, it’s been a nightmare to get it done as I wanted but I’m quite happy with the result and I hope you’ll find it useful.
This Photoshop tutorial is going to show you how to create patterns starting from pictures and how to apply them to your designs. You will be able to generate stunning textures that you can then use in your websites to add both dimension and a sense of touch. Enjoy!

So, I don’t understand, how are you going to cut that background pattern for the web site? I mean it’s going to be one very big image, right?
He will cut the original pattern dude .. after applying the clone stamp tool for all edges.
Very useful screencast Andrea, thank you very much. I shall try this next time I have two hours to wait for Photoshop to load :-) Just kidding!
Is this how you created the background for madeincima?
You should do more screencasts. Honestly – the effort is appreciated!
Thanks.
