The aim of ‘Spirito Sportivo’ by Gym’s is to provide a meeting place for sport, nutrition and wellbeing in contemporary and innovative fashion. To achieve this, besides having the traditional gym, the centre offers a vitamin-packed gastronomic experience: restaurant, take-away and sales counter focused on fresh and natural food.
Two souls, one 'Sporting Spirit'
The foundations of the new website
The initial phases of analysis and planning are fundamental when creating a top quality website: it is necessary to clarify the possible ambiguities of the interface and best define the user experience. In the case of ‘Gym’s – Vitamine’, together with our partner Plus Communications (who looked after the brand communication, offline too). We devised a creative solution that best conveys the dual nature of the brand.
Two websites in one
In order to convey the idea of an integrated approach featuring two main lines of action, we devised one website for ‘Gym’s – Vitamine’ with two large macro-sections: one dedicated to the fitness and courses side and the other to ‘Vitamine’ restaurant. The homepage is shared by the two aspects, both in terms of graphic and expressive codes, and in terms of space.
A unique picture, with plenty of scope to express itself
Divide and rule. This is not just a political strategy, but a general way of resolving problems, including communication ones. We needed to explain a complete approach to wellbeing involving an abundance of details and nitty gritty. This is why we created a structure for obtaining further information, with pages of lists and details of the individual items (courses, fitness etc.) that leave the necessary space for getting a general picture of the opportunities provided by ‘Gym’s – Vitamine’ and details of the individual items of interest.
A website geared towards dynamic people who actively wish to take care of their health and wellbeing has to be capable of adapting itself to a lifestyle in constant motion. This means, as is the case with ‘Gym’s – Vitamine’, responsive design: content that is adaptable in its layout according to the device used for navigating or the size of the window.
